Licensed in both Illinois and New York, Rebecca focuses her practice primarily on estate planning, with a particular emphasis on tax planning, asset protection planning, advising clients regarding retirement assets, charitable giving, and business succession strategies. She designs, drafts and implements tailored estate plans for clients, ensuring their wishes and goals are achieved. Rebecca has significant experience working with high-net-worth individuals to create complex estate planning structures, providing security for their families for generations to come.
Rebecca invests the time to get to know each and every one of her clients in an effort to accomplish their estate planning objectives as well as make them feel as comfortable as possible about the important decisions they are making. “The documents and structures can be very complicated but I strive to make sure that my clients understand their estate planning every step of the way,” Rebecca says. “Whether it’s in-person meetings, telephone calls, detailed written explanations, or using flowcharts, I do anything and everything I can to help my clients comprehend this intricate process.”
Frequently participating in seminars and webinars, Rebecca enjoys educating clients and other professionals on estate planning and related topics, including drafting trusts in estate planning and counseling on how to best utilize retirement assets. At one of her prior firms, she frequently co-hosted a radio program, addressing listeners’ questions and providing relevant and timely information about estate planning and elder law.
In addition to her role as an ambassador of the firm’s Women Helping Women program, Rebecca is a member of Chuhak & Tecson’s Associate/Law Clerk Oversight Committee.
A native of New York and recent transplant to Illinois, when Rebecca is not in the office she enjoys exploring all that Chicago has to offer, as well as reading, traveling and visiting family.
