Prior to obtaining a juris doctor degree, he successfully managed a portfolio of multi-family properties in New York City. He also brokered the sale of commercial properties. His bachelor’s degree is in economics.
Business and individual clients rely on his experienced-based wisdom for buying and selling single-family homes, multi-family apartment buildings, retail properties, mixed-use properties and office buildings. He advises on corporate formation and represents secured creditors in commercial and residential workouts, banks and noteholders in defensive litigation, and secured and unsecured creditors in routine bankruptcy matters. Additionally, he represents clients in various types of civil litigation.
Dan works out of Chuhak & Tecson’s New York office. Passionate about giving back to the community, he offers pro bono legal services to community organizations and individuals who are unable to retain counsel. He also serves as Chair of the Traffic and Transportation Committee of Bronx Community Board Number 8. Dan attributes his passion for community service to his father, who was honored for his own contributions by the City of New York in 2012.
