Licensed in both Florida and Illinois, Christina represents individual and business clients in estate planning, business succession planning and administration of estates and trusts, including Florida probate matters. She prepares individually crafted estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney and other estate planning vehicles for clients with modest estates as well as high net-worth clients with large, complex portfolios. Christina’s greatest priority is providing clients and their families with peace of mind and long-term security. She develops and implements comprehensive and thoughtful estate and asset protection plans, including trust funding, that achieve a client’s business and personal goals, such as probate avoidance and estate tax minimization.
As an advanced estate planning practitioner, Christina drafts and enforces customized family legacy plans and wealth strategies often working with client’s other professional advisors that include irrevocable insurance trusts, spousal access trusts, gift trusts, charitable foundations, installment sales and other estate freezing tools and techniques. Christina finds innovative ways to solve perplexing, often systemic issues and coordinates income, gift and tax strategies to reflect the client’s financial and familial values. Sometimes working with multiple generations at one time with empathy, poise and grace, Christina’s dedication and attentiveness ensures multi-step plans are executed through completion. One of the greatest joys of her practice is working with family businesses to develop a prudent business succession plan that will position their business for sustained prosperity for generations to come.
An accomplished transactional attorney, Christina develops strong, trusting relationships with the owners of established and newly formed companies to better understand their businesses and goals. She takes a detail-oriented, task-driven approach that helps her efficiently guide these clients through the transactional and taxation issues they face every day. Christina has extensive experience representing clients in all phases of a business’ life cycle, including entity formation, restructuring and reorganization, the sale of stock or assets and the transition of ownership and management. She provides counsel on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and buy-sell agreements and development and maintenance of corporate governance.
