Chuhak & Tecson's Condo & Common Interest Comm. Assoc. group marks 10 years with the firm
July 1, 2020
Established on July 1, 2010, with the addition of father-son duo Steve and David Bloomberg to the firm, the practice has grown to offer a full range of services in the community association field, representing a variety of clients, including condominium, townhome and homeowner associations, as well as cooperatives.
“Chuhak has been a perfect fit for the growth of this group to become a leader in this area,” said David Bloomberg, leader of Chuhak & Tecson’s Condominium & Common Interests Community Association group. “The firm encouraged us to build a practice that’s the most effective from a client relations standpoint and I feel as a group we’ve taken that to heart as shown by our continued growth and reach in the industry.”
Over the past 10 years, the group has managed to facilitate an average of over $1 million condominium loans per week, counseled over 10,000 condominium board members and provided exceptional and cost-effective service to over 1,000 clients. They offer a wide variety of services to meet clients’ changing needs, including preparing and reviewing declarations, bylaw amendments and loan documentation; negotiating contracts; analyzing insurance policies; defending Fair Housing Act and discrimination complaints; answering legal questions as to operations and governance; and defending associations in litigation.
“Our five-attorney Condo group stands out from those at other firms because of their relationship-based, client need driven approach to providing high-quality service at a great value,” said Mitchell Weinstein, president of Chuhak & Tecson. “Their combined experience and responsiveness not only has produced sophisticated and creative solutions to legal issues in this space, but has also greatly aided their colleagues in other practice groups, particularly Banking, Real Estate, Litigation, and Corporate Transactions and Business Law.”
In addition to celebrating 10 years of exceptional service and dedication to clients, this milestone also serves as a reminder to Chuhak & Tecson’s legacy and continued endorsement of family.
“David and I very much wanted to practice together and I think this firm has provided a great platform in which we’ve flourished,” said Steve Bloomberg, principal at Chuhak & Tecson. “Collaborating on cases has been extremely rewarding and I’m proud of what David, myself and the rest of our team have and continue to accomplish on behalf of our clients.”
