Girls4Science
At their annual retreat, Chuhak & Tecson Principals “dared to take on” the Girls4Science STEM Team Challenge! Our six teams of six Principals each immersed themselves in captivating STEM challenges that went beyond the ordinary — mind-bending trivia, limericks, spaghetti & marshmallow skyscraper engineering, and crepe-paper unravel race — earning points on the path to becoming the undisputed STEM Champions.
Girls4Science is a nonprofit organization dedicated to exposing girls in Chicago, ages 10 to 18, to science, technology, engineering and math. Each challenge addressed by our Principals unlocked essential supplies for kits, which promote STEM learning in an engaging way by sparking curiosity, fueling innovation and leaving a lasting impact on young minds. It wasn’t about our team that won the challenge, but rather the girls that got the new STEM kits.
Thank you to Girls4Science for providing us with a great team building exercise!
